  • 500G Loose Besan
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut firm tofu into small bite-sized cubes, ensuring they are evenly shaped for frying.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, chickpea flour, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
  3. 3. Finely chop green chilies, coriander leaves, and ginger, then add them to the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Slowly add water to the flour mixture, stirring to form a thick batter that can coat the tofu evenly.
  5. 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it reaches frying temperature.
  6. 6. Dip each tofu cube into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated, then gently place it into the hot oil.
  7. 7. Fry the pakoras in batches, turning them occasionally, until they turn golden-brown and crispy.
  8. 8. Remove the fried pakoras using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
