Ingredients
- 200 g Diet Tofu Soya Tofu
- 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 1 Piece Yellow Bell Pepper (Haladi Dappa Menasinakaayi)
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 140 g Modern Kitchens Raita Boondi - 100 % Rice Bran Oil
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. In a bowl, mix rice flour with salt, turmeric, and a little water to create a light batter.
- 3. Dip tofu cubes into the batter and coat them evenly.
- 4. Heat oil in a skillet and shallow-fry the tofu cubes until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- 5. Finely chop onion, bell peppers, tomato, and coriander leaves for the masala base.
- 6. In the same skillet, sauté onion and ginger-garlic paste until fragrant.
- 7. Add bell peppers and tomato, cooking until softened, then mix in coriander, cumin, chili powder, and salt.
- 8. Stir the crispy tofu into the masala mixture and toss until coated evenly.
- 9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and let the mixture cool slightly before serving.
- 10. Serve the masala tofu pockets warm as a protein-packed snack.
