Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- - Rice Flour
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250g Green Chilli
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut into thick slices.
- 2. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
- 3. Gradually add water to the bowl and whisk until a smooth batter forms.
- 4. Dip tofu slices into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the tofu slices until golden and crispy on both sides.
- 6. Remove the tofu slices and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 7. Blend mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to make the chutney.
- 8. Serve the crispy tofu cutlets hot with the minty chutney on the side.
