- 200 g Diet Tofu Soya Tofu
- 1 pack (500 g) Daily Good Besan / Gram Flour / Chana Besan
- 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 100 g Tamarind Paste
- 450 g Whole Farm Premium Kolhapuri Jaggery
- Pcs Everest Chaat Masala 12g
- 250 g Cucumber
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 140 g Modern Kitchens Raita Boondi - 100 % Rice Bran Oil
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small bite-sized cubes.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin, coriander, and salt.
- 3. Gradually add water to the dry mixture, whisking to create a smooth batter with a slightly thick consistency.
- 4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it reaches frying temperature.
- 5. Dip each tofu cube into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated, then carefully place it into the hot oil.
- 6. Fry the tofu cubes in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
- 7. In a small saucepan, mix tamarind paste, jaggery, and a splash of water. Cook on low heat until it thickens slightly, then set aside to cool.
- 8. In a serving bowl, arrange the crispy tofu cubes as the base.
