- 50 g Everest Chicken Masala
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- - Besan
- - Fresh Tofu
- - MASOOR DAL
Instructions
- 1. Cut the tofu into small cubes and set aside on a plate.
- 2. Thinly slice the carrot, cabbage, and onion into julienne strips for even cooking.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
- 4. Add ginger paste and finely chopped green chili to the bowl for added flavor.
- 5. Gradually add water to the dry mixture, stirring to form a thick, lump-free batter.
- 6. Add the sliced vegetables and tofu cubes to the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
- 7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.
- 8. Once the oil is hot, drop small portions of the batter-coated tofu and vegetables into the oil.
- 9. Fry the pakoras in batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 10. Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.
- 11. Repeat the process until all the batter is used up and all pakoras are cooked.
- 12. Serve the hot and crispy pakoras with mint chutney or tamarind dip for a flavorful snack.
