Ingredients
- 1Kg Potato
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Green Chutney
- 85g Su Pn Date Tamarind Chutney
- 500G Loose Besan
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Chat Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Jeera
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- 2. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, salt, turmeric, and red chili powder. Add water to make a thick batter.
- 3. Dip tofu cubes into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated on all sides.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu cubes until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside on a paper towel.
- 5. Boil the potatoes until tender, peel, and dice them into small cubes.
- 6. Chop the onion, tomato, and coriander leaves finely and set them aside for garnish.
- 7. In a large bowl, combine fried tofu, boiled diced potatoes, onion, and tomato.
- 8. Drizzle green chutney and tamarind chutney over the mixture, tossing gently to coat.
- 9. Sprinkle chat masala and cumin seeds evenly and mix well.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for added freshness.
- 11. Serve immediately while the tofu is still crispy for the best texture and flavor.
