Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- 250 g Spinach
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it into small pieces.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and green chili, and set them aside.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt.
- 4. Gradually add water to the dry mixture, stirring to form a thick batter.
- 5. Fold the chopped spinach, onion, and green chili into the batter until evenly mixed.
- 6. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it is hot but not smoking.
- 7. Scoop small portions of the batter using a spoon and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
- 8. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crisp.
- 9. Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 10. Serve the fritters hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce for dipping.
