Ingredients
- - Rice Flour
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the moong dal in water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
- 2. Drain the soaked dal and blend it into a coarse paste using a food processor.
- 3. Add rice flour, chopped coriander leaves, minced green chilies, grated ginger, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the dal paste.
- 4. Mix well and add water gradually to achieve a thick batter consistency suitable for fritters.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 6. Drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil using a spoon or your hands.
- 7. Fry the fritters in batches until they turn golden and crispy, flipping occasionally for even cooking.
- 8. Remove the fritters using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 9. Serve the crispy fritters hot with your choice of chutney or ketchup.
