- 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
- 500G Loose Besan
- - Rice Flour
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets thoroughly and pat them dry using a clean kitchen towel.
- 2. Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces, ensuring they are even for uniform cooking.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, and all the dry spices thoroughly.
- 4. Add the ginger-garlic paste, salt, green chili, and water to form a smooth, thick batter.
- 5. Stir in finely chopped coriander leaves for an added burst of freshness.
- 6. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- 7. Dip the fish pieces into the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 8. Gently slide the battered fish into the hot oil, frying in small batches to avoid overcrowding.
- 9. Fry the fish pakoras for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and crisp.
- 10. Use a slotted spoon to remove the pakoras and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 11. Repeat the process with the remaining fish pieces until all are fried.
- 12. Serve the pakoras hot with mint chutney or a squeeze of fresh lemon for added tang.
