Ingredients
- - Rice Flour
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250 g Cucumber
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Chaat Masala
- - Red Chilli
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Lemon
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes until they soften.
- 2. Drain the soy chunks and squeeze out excess water.
- 3. In a bowl, mix rice flour, salt, cumin powder, and red chili powder with water to form a thin batter.
- 4. Coat the soy chunks evenly in the batter and set aside.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium flame and fry the coated soy chunks until crispy and golden brown.
- 6. Chop the tomato, cucumber, onion, and green chili into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
- 7. Add the fried soy chunks to the bowl with the chopped vegetables.
- 8. Sprinkle chaat masala and a dash of red chili powder over the mixture.
- 9. Squeeze the juice of one lemon onto the chaat and toss everything well to combine.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for a burst of flavor.
- 11. Serve the crispy soy chunk chaat in small bowls or plates while still warm.
