Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Quinoa
- 1Kg Potato
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 80 g Soya Chunks
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- - Rice Flour
- 1 l Soyabean Oil
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes and squeeze out excess water.
- 2. Boil the potatoes until soft, peel them, and mash them in a bowl.
- 3. Cook the quinoa in water until fully absorbed and then let it cool down.
- 4. Finely chop the onion, green chilies, ginger, and coriander leaves.
- 5. In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, cooked quinoa, soy chunks, and chopped vegetables.
- 6. Add garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the mixture and stir well.
- 7. Sprinkle rice flour into the mixture and knead it into a firm dough.
- 8. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into round patties.
- 9. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 10. Place the patties in the pan and cook each side until golden brown and crispy.
- 11. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- 12. Serve hot with mint chutney or a side of fresh salad for added flavor.
