- 1 kg Rice
- 250 g Spinach
- 100 g Garlic
- 250g Green Chilli
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 50 g Black Pepper
- - Corn Starch Powder
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
Instructions
- 1. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes until smooth and lump-free.
- 2. Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 1 minute, then chop finely.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cooked rice, chopped spinach, and cornstarch.
- 4. Add minced garlic, chopped green chilies, ground cumin, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper to the mixture.
- 5. Mix all ingredients thoroughly to form a cohesive, slightly sticky dough.
- 6. Shape the mixture into small balls, ensuring each ball is evenly sized.
- 7. Heat cooking oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 8. Fry the rice balls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden and crisp on all sides.
- 9. Remove the fried rice balls and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
