Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Cumin Seeds / Jeera Seeds-250 Gms
- 100 g Salt
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut paneer into small cubes and set aside for stir-frying later.
- 2. Chop onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and green chilies finely for the masala base.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; sauté until they crackle and release aroma.
- 4. Add chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Mix in garlic, ginger, and green chilies, cooking for 2 minutes to enhance flavors.
- 6. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder, stirring well.
- 7. Cook the mixture until tomatoes soften and the oil begins to separate from the masala.
- 8. Pour in coconut milk, mix thoroughly, and simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- 9. In a separate pan, lightly fry paneer cubes in a tablespoon of oil until crispy on the edges.
- 10. Add the fried paneer cubes to the coconut masala and stir gently to coat them evenly.
- 11. Simmer the dish for 5 minutes on low heat to allow the flavors to meld together.
- 12. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander before serving.
