Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 200 ml Coconut Milk
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Cumin Seeds / Jeera Seeds-250 Gms
  • 100 g Salt
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut paneer into small cubes and set aside for stir-frying later.
  2. 2. Chop onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and green chilies finely for the masala base.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; sauté until they crackle and release aroma.
  4. 4. Add chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Mix in garlic, ginger, and green chilies, cooking for 2 minutes to enhance flavors.
  6. 6. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder, stirring well.
  7. 7. Cook the mixture until tomatoes soften and the oil begins to separate from the masala.
  8. 8. Pour in coconut milk, mix thoroughly, and simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  9. 9. In a separate pan, lightly fry paneer cubes in a tablespoon of oil until crispy on the edges.
  10. 10. Add the fried paneer cubes to the coconut masala and stir gently to coat them evenly.
  11. 11. Simmer the dish for 5 minutes on low heat to allow the flavors to meld together.
  12. 12. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander before serving.
