Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 1 kg Rice
- 250 g Carrot
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 500 g Onion
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Refined Flour
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 5 ltr Guinea Filtered Groundnut Oil For Frying & Sauteing
- 100 g Mint Sauf
Instructions
- 1. Grate the paneer into a large mixing bowl for a smooth texture.
- 2. Finely chop the carrot, capsicum, onion, and coriander leaves.
- 3. In the bowl with paneer, add cooked rice, chopped veggies, ginger paste, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- 4. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a cohesive mixture.
- 5. Gradually add chickpea flour to bind the mixture and prevent it from falling apart.
- 6. Shape the mixture into small, even-sized balls with your hands.
- 7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 8. Gently slide the rice balls into the hot oil, a few at a time, to avoid overcrowding.
- 9. Fry the balls, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crisp on all sides.
- 10. Remove the crispy rice balls with a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
- 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for a burst of freshness.
- 12. Serve warm with mint chutney or tamarind sauce for an extra zing.
