Ingredients

  • 500 g Onion
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the mung beans in water for 4-5 hours, then drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Blend the soaked mung beans into a coarse paste using minimal water.
  3. 3. Finely chop spinach, onion, garlic, and green chilies, then mix them into the mung bean paste.
  4. 4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and rice flour to the mixture and stir well.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until it is hot but not smoking.
  6. 6. Scoop small portions of the mixture and drop them gently into the hot oil.
  7. 7. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  8. 8. Remove the fritters from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  9. 9. Repeat the frying process with the remaining mixture until all fritters are cooked.
  10. 10. Serve the crispy fritters warm with your favorite chutney or dipping sauce.
