Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Rice Flour
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the mung beans in water for 4-5 hours, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Blend the soaked mung beans into a coarse paste using minimal water.
- 3. Finely chop spinach, onion, garlic, and green chilies, then mix them into the mung bean paste.
- 4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and rice flour to the mixture and stir well.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until it is hot but not smoking.
- 6. Scoop small portions of the mixture and drop them gently into the hot oil.
- 7. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- 8. Remove the fritters from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- 9. Repeat the frying process with the remaining mixture until all fritters are cooked.
- 10. Serve the crispy fritters warm with your favorite chutney or dipping sauce.
