Ingredients
- - Rice Flour
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the split green moong dal in water for 4 hours and drain it completely.
- 2. Grind the soaked moong dal into a coarse paste using a mixer grinder with minimal water.
- 3. Chop the coriander leaves, green chilies, and ginger finely and add them to the dal paste.
- 4. Mix in rice flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt to form a dough-like consistency.
- 5. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into round pattice.
- 6. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame and carefully place the pattice in the hot oil.
- 7. Fry the pattice on both sides until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 8. Remove the pattice and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- 9. Serve the crispy pattice hot with your favorite chutney or dipping sauce.
