  • - Chaat Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100G Oleo

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse and soak the moong dal in water for 4 hours, then drain and grind coarsely without adding water.
  2. 2. Boil and mash the potatoes until smooth, then combine them with the ground moong dal in a mixing bowl.
  3. 3. Add chopped coriander leaves, grated ginger, finely chopped green chili, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt to the mixture.
  4. 4. Stir in rice flour to bind the mixture, ensuring it forms a dough-like consistency that holds its shape.

  6. 6. Heat oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat, ensuring the pan is evenly coated with oil.

  8. 8. Remove the tikkis from the pan and drain excess oil on a paper towel for a few seconds.
  9. 9. Garnish with a sprinkle of chaat masala or fresh coriander leaves before serving.
  10. 10. Serve the hot tikkis with mint chutney or a tangy tamarind dip for added flavor.
