Ingredients

  • 125 g Golden Prize Sardine In Oil With Chili
  • 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 500 ml Oil (For Frying)

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the sardines thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
  2. 2. Prepare a spice mix by combining turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt in a small bowl.
  3. 3. Marinate the sardines with ginger-garlic paste and the prepared spice mix. Let them rest for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat and shallow-fry the marinated sardines until crispy on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
  5. 5. In a separate bowl, mix rice flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a smooth batter.
  6. 6. Heat a tawa or flat pan and pour a small ladle of the rice flour batter to form a thin flatbread. Cook on both sides until slightly golden.
  7. 7. Remove the flatbreads and keep them warm by covering with a clean kitchen towel.
  8. 8. In the same pan, sauté onions, tomatoes, and green chilies until softened. Add a pinch of salt for seasoning.
  9. 9. Assemble the wraps by placing the crispy sardines and sautéed vegetables on the rice flour flatbreads.
