Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1Kg Potato
- 500G Loose Besan
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Red Chilli
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash and cook the millet in water until tender, then set aside to cool slightly.
- 2. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- 3. Add the cooked millet, chickpea flour, chopped green chili, and coriander leaves to the bowl.
- 4. Sprinkle in the cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric, and salt, mixing thoroughly to form a dough-like consistency.
- 5. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into small round patties.
- 6. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- 7. Place the patties in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.
- 8. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- 9. Repeat the process with the remaining patties, ensuring they are evenly fried.
- 10. Garnish with extra coriander leaves and serve warm with your choice of chutney or dip.
