- - MASOOR DAL SPECIAL 500GM
- 1 kg Rice
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Ginger Powder
- - Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix 50g Pouch
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak the red lentils in water for 20 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Cook the rice with water and a pinch of salt until fluffy, then keep it covered to retain warmth.
- 3. Blend soaked lentils, garlic, green chilies, turmeric powder, and black pepper into a coarse mixture.
- 4. Mix the lentil blend with finely chopped onions and fresh coriander to form a dough-like consistency.
- 5. Shape the lentil mixture into small patties and set them aside on a tray.
- 6. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until they turn golden and crispy on both sides.
- 7. In a separate pan, sauté frozen mixed vegetables with ginger powder and Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix.
- 8. Mix the sautéed vegetables into the cooked rice evenly, ensuring the spices coat the grains well.
