Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- - Red Chilli
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100G Oleo
- 1pc Watermelon
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- - Rice Flour
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 200 g Black Salt
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, chickpea flour, turmeric, chili powder, coriander, cumin, and black salt.
- 3. Add lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves, and water to form a thick batter for coating the soy chunks.
- 4. Coat the soy chunks evenly with the prepared batter, ensuring full coverage.
- 5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and carefully place the coated soy chunks in the pan.
- 6. Fry the chunks for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- 7. Remove the soy bites from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- 8. Serve the crispy bites warm, garnished with additional coriander leaves if desired.
