Ingredients

  • 500G Loose Besan
  • - Red Chilli
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100G Oleo
  • 1pc Watermelon
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • - Rice Flour
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 200 g Black Salt
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, chickpea flour, turmeric, chili powder, coriander, cumin, and black salt.
  3. 3. Add lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves, and water to form a thick batter for coating the soy chunks.
  4. 4. Coat the soy chunks evenly with the prepared batter, ensuring full coverage.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and carefully place the coated soy chunks in the pan.
  6. 6. Fry the chunks for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. 7. Remove the soy bites from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
