Delicious fish pakoras made with marinated chunks of fish, coated in spiced chickpea flour batter and deep-fried to golden perfection.
Ingredients
- - Light Meat Tuna Chunks In Sunflower Oil 185Gms
- 500G Loose Besan
- - Rice Flour
- 1pc Watermelon
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the fish chunks thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Marinate the fish with lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, and salt for 15 minutes.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt.
- 4. Gradually add water to the flour mixture, whisking to form a smooth batter of medium consistency.
- 5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat until it reaches frying temperature.
- 6. Dip each marinated fish chunk into the batter, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- 7. Carefully slide the coated fish chunks into the hot oil, frying in small batches.
- 8. Flip the pakoras occasionally to ensure even cooking and a golden-brown crust.
- 9. Once crispy and cooked through, remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 10. Garnish the pakoras with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
- 11. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup for dipping.
