- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 1Kg Potato
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- - Rice Flour
- 1pc Watermelon
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Boil the potatoes until soft, peel them, and mash them thoroughly.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, sauté chopped onions, green chilies, and garlic paste until fragrant.
- 3. Add turmeric, red chili, cumin, and coriander powders to the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
- 4. Mix the sautéed spices into the mashed potatoes along with salt and combine well.
- 5. Peel the boiled eggs and cut each into halves lengthwise.
- 6. Take a portion of the potato mixture and flatten it in your palm to form a patty.
- 7. Place half an egg in the center of the patty and carefully encase the egg with the potato mixture.
- 8. Prepare a thin batter with rice flour and water, ensuring no lumps remain.
- 9. Dip the potato-wrapped eggs into the rice flour batter to coat evenly.
- 10. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- 11. Deep fry the coated egg chops until golden and crispy, turning occasionally.
- 12. Drain the egg chops on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 13. Serve hot with ketchup or mustard sauce for dipping.
