Ingredients

  • 400 g Sweet Corn Kernels
  • - Rice Flour
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Chop the spinach leaves and coriander finely and set them aside.
  2. 2. Blend half of the corn kernels into a coarse paste; keep the remaining kernels whole for texture.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the corn paste, whole corn kernels, spinach, coriander, rice flour, cumin, turmeric, salt, and finely chopped green chilies.
  4. 4. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a batter; adjust consistency with a few tablespoons of water if necessary.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it's hot but not smoking.
  6. 6. Using a spoon, drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil to form fritters.
  7. 7. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn golden and crispy.
  8. 8. Remove the fritters using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
