Ingredients

  • 500G Loose Besan
  • 1Kg Potato
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and finely chop the potato, onion, spinach leaves, green chilies, and cilantro leaves.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  3. 3. Gradually add water to the mixture, whisking until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.
  4. 4. Add the chopped vegetables and herbs to the batter, mixing until evenly coated.
  5. 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches frying temperature.
  6. 6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan.
  7. 7. Fry the pakoras for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. 8. Remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  9. 9. Repeat the frying process with the remaining batter and vegetables.
