Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- 1Kg Potato
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and finely chop the potato, onion, spinach leaves, green chilies, and cilantro leaves.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- 3. Gradually add water to the mixture, whisking until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.
- 4. Add the chopped vegetables and herbs to the batter, mixing until evenly coated.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches frying temperature.
- 6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan.
- 7. Fry the pakoras for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 8. Remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- 9. Repeat the frying process with the remaining batter and vegetables.
- 10. Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce for a flavorful snack.
