Ingredients

  • 500G Loose Besan
  • 1Kg Potato
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • loose Ginger
  • NaN Zoff Ajwain
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and finely chop the spinach, coriander leaves, green chili, and ginger.
  2. 2. Peel and thinly slice the potato and onion into small strips.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour with turmeric, red chili powder, carom seeds, and salt.
  4. 4. Gradually add water to the flour mixture, stirring to form a smooth, thick batter.
  5. 5. Add the chopped vegetables to the batter and mix until well combined.
  6. 6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  7. 7. Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, ensuring even spacing.
  8. 8. Fry the pakoras in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. 9. Use a slotted spoon to remove the pakoras and drain excess oil on paper towels.
  10. 10. Repeat the frying process with the remaining batter and vegetables.
  11. 11. Serve the pakoras warm with a side of mint chutney or tomato ketchup for dipping.
