- 500G Loose Besan
- 1Kg Potato
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- loose Ginger
- NaN Zoff Ajwain
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and finely chop the spinach, coriander leaves, green chili, and ginger.
- 2. Peel and thinly slice the potato and onion into small strips.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour with turmeric, red chili powder, carom seeds, and salt.
- 4. Gradually add water to the flour mixture, stirring to form a smooth, thick batter.
- 5. Add the chopped vegetables to the batter and mix until well combined.
- 6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- 7. Drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil, ensuring even spacing.
- 8. Fry the pakoras in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
- 9. Use a slotted spoon to remove the pakoras and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- 10. Repeat the frying process with the remaining batter and vegetables.
- 11. Serve the pakoras warm with a side of mint chutney or tomato ketchup for dipping.
