Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and finely chop the spinach leaves and coriander leaves.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin seeds, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
- 3. Add the chopped spinach, coriander, and finely minced green chili to the bowl and mix well.
- 4. Gradually add water to the mixture and stir until a thick batter forms.
- 5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat for shallow frying.
- 6. Scoop small portions of the batter into the pan, flattening slightly into fritter shapes.
- 7. Cook each fritter for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.
- 8. Remove the fritters from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 9. Serve the fritters warm with a side of mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
