Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 500G Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 1 kg Water Chestnuts
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Cumin Seeds 100g
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. 2. Gradually add water while whisking to create a smooth, lump-free batter.
  3. 3. Finely chop tomato, cabbage, capsicum, green chili, and coriander leaves.
  4. 4. Heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in a pan and sauté chopped vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
  5. 5. Heat a non-stick pan and grease lightly with oil before pouring a ladle of batter.
  6. 6. Spread the batter evenly in a circular motion to form a thin chilla.
  7. 7. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on medium heat until the edges lift easily.
  8. 8. Flip the chilla carefully and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
  9. 9. Place sautéed vegetables on one side of the cooked chilla.
  10. 10. Roll the chilla tightly around the vegetable filling to form a wrap.
  11. 11. Repeat the process with the remaining batter and filling to make more wraps.
  12. 12. Serve warm with your favorite chutney or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
