Crispy Besan Chilla Wraps Recipe

A protein-packed and flavorful snack made with spiced gram flour batter, stuffed with sautéed vegetables for a delightful crunch.
Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 250g Green Chilli
- 500G Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1 kg Water Chestnuts
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Cumin Seeds 100g
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.
- 2. Gradually add water while whisking to create a smooth, lump-free batter.
- 3. Finely chop tomato, cabbage, capsicum, green chili, and coriander leaves.
- 4. Heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in a pan and sauté chopped vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
- 5. Heat a non-stick pan and grease lightly with oil before pouring a ladle of batter.
- 6. Spread the batter evenly in a circular motion to form a thin chilla.
- 7. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on medium heat until the edges lift easily.
- 8. Flip the chilla carefully and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
- 9. Place sautéed vegetables on one side of the cooked chilla.
- 10. Roll the chilla tightly around the vegetable filling to form a wrap.
- 11. Repeat the process with the remaining batter and filling to make more wraps.
- 12. Serve warm with your favorite chutney or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
