Ingredients
- 3 pcs Cucumber Green
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
- 2 x 170 ml Masterchow White Vinegar - Pack Of 2
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
Instructions
- 1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add 1 sliced onion and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 2. Peel and thinly slice 2 cucumbers. Place them in a large pot.
- 3. Add 1 cup of white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and the sautéed onions to the pot. Pour in enough cold water to cover the cucumbers.
- 4. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook until the cucumbers are soft, about 15-20 minutes.
- 5. For a thicker consistency, stir in 2 tablespoons of white flour mixed with a little water to form a roux. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the soup hot or cold, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
