- 1 kg Rice
- 250 ml Real Thai Unsweetened Coconut Milk
- - FUNFOOD PEANUT BUTTER CREAMY 100GM
- 500 g Onion
- 25G Kp Mut Suk Mas
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- - Ginger Powder
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly under running water and set aside.
- 2. Finely chop the onion, garlic cloves, and fresh turmeric for the stir-fry preparation.
- 3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan and sauté the chopped onion, garlic, and turmeric until aromatic.
- 4. Add the red lentils to the pan and stir well to coat them with the sautéed mixture.
- 5. Pour in the coconut milk and water, then bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- 6. Stir in Buknu spice blend, salt, ginger powder, and black pepper, ensuring the lentils are well seasoned.
- 7. Cook the lentils for 15-20 minutes until they are soft and creamy, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
