- 1 piece Coconut
- 180 g Button Mushroom
- 250 g Spinach
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g Mutton
- 100 Ml Govind Ghee
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- Nihari Masala Shan (Nihari Masala)
- 200 g Table Salt
- 50 g Cloves
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Cardamom Green
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 20 g Cinnamon
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until they turn golden brown.
- 3. Add the minced garlic, ginger powder, and green chilies to the pan, cooking until aromatic.
- 4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until they release their moisture.
- 5. Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt, mixing well to coat the mushrooms in the spices.
- 6. Pour in the coconut milk and water, stirring to combine with the spices.
- 7. Add the rinsed rice to the pan, ensuring it is submerged in the liquid.
- 8. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 9. When the rice is almost done, fold in the chopped spinach and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
- 10. Check the rice for doneness and adjust salt if necessary.
- 11. Turn off the heat and let the rice rest, covered, for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
