About this recipe
A delightful pescatarian dish featuring tender salmon simmered with fresh oranges, a hint of nutmeg, and a splash of red wine and orange juice. Perfect for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 200 g Mini Orange (Imported)
- 250 ml Minute Maid Pulpy Orange Pet
- 120 g Golden Prize Pink Salmon Fillet In Oil
- 1 pack (25 g) Snapin Nutmeg Powder
- 500 ml American Garden Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Remove the skin from the salmon fillets and set them aside.
- 2. Slice the oranges into thin rounds. Arrange half of the orange slices in the bottom of a large pan to create a base layer.
- 3. Place the salmon fillets on top of the orange slices. Sprinkle the salmon evenly with the nutmeg.
- 4. Layer the remaining orange slices over the salmon, ensuring the fillets are fully covered.
- 5. Pour the apple cider vinegar and orange juice over the salmon and oranges. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- 6. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the salmon simmer for about 10 minutes or until it is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
- 7. Carefully remove the salmon from the pan and transfer it to a serving dish. Serve warm with the cooked orange slices as garnish.
