Citrus-Infused Salmon Dinner recipe

About this recipe

A delightful pescatarian dish featuring tender salmon simmered with fresh oranges, a hint of nutmeg, and a splash of red wine and orange juice. Perfect for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Mini Orange (Imported)
  • 250 ml Minute Maid Pulpy Orange Pet
  • 120 g Golden Prize Pink Salmon Fillet In Oil
  • 1 pack (25 g) Snapin Nutmeg Powder
  • 500 ml American Garden Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1. Remove the skin from the salmon fillets and set them aside.
  2. 2. Slice the oranges into thin rounds. Arrange half of the orange slices in the bottom of a large pan to create a base layer.
  3. 3. Place the salmon fillets on top of the orange slices. Sprinkle the salmon evenly with the nutmeg.
  4. 4. Layer the remaining orange slices over the salmon, ensuring the fillets are fully covered.
  5. 5. Pour the apple cider vinegar and orange juice over the salmon and oranges. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  6. 6. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the salmon simmer for about 10 minutes or until it is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. 7. Carefully remove the salmon from the pan and transfer it to a serving dish. Serve warm with the cooked orange slices as garnish.
