Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
  • - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 25 g Whole Black Pepper
  • 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water and soak it for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat sesame oil in a deep pan over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until golden and aromatic.
  3. 3. Add chopped green chilies to the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  4. 4. Toss in the prawns and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and start curling.
  5. 5. Sprinkle soy sauce over the prawns, stir well, and cook for another minute.
  6. 6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan along with water, salt, and black pepper.
  7. 7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked.
