Ingredients

  • 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them crackle for a few seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4. Mix in ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw aroma disappears.
  5. 5. Add finely chopped tomatoes and green chilies, and cook until the tomatoes turn soft.
  6. 6. Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, and cook for about 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Add chicken mince to the pan and cook until it turns opaque, stirring occasionally.
  8. 8. Season the mixture with salt and cook on medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
  9. 9. While the keema cooks, boil water in another pot and add the soaked rice with a pinch of salt.
  10. 10. Simmer the rice until it is tender and fluffy, then drain any excess water.
  11. 11. Garnish the chicken keema with freshly chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  12. 12. Serve the chicken keema hot with the jeera rice on the side.
