Ingredients
- 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
- 1 kg Rice
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; sauté until aromatic.
- 3. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan along with 300 ml of water and a pinch of salt; cook until the rice is fluffy and set aside.
- 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in another pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
- 5. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the onions; stir and cook for 1 minute.
- 6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and the oil starts to separate.
- 7. Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala; stir well to create a flavorful base.
- 8. Add the chicken mince to the pan and cook on medium heat until fully browned and the juices are absorbed.
- 9. Season the keema with salt and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 10. Garnish the keema with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
- 11. Serve the chicken keema alongside the jeera rice for a balanced and aromatic breakfast.
