Ingredients

  • 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
  • 1 kg Rice
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; sauté until aromatic.
  3. 3. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan along with 300 ml of water and a pinch of salt; cook until the rice is fluffy and set aside.
  4. 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in another pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
  5. 5. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the onions; stir and cook for 1 minute.
  6. 6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and the oil starts to separate.
  7. 7. Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala; stir well to create a flavorful base.
  8. 8. Add the chicken mince to the pan and cook on medium heat until fully browned and the juices are absorbed.
  9. 9. Season the keema with salt and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
