Ingredients

  • 1 kg Rice
  • - Whole Black Urad Dal-1 Kg
  • 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Catch Ginger Paste
  • 100 g Catch Garlic Paste
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the rice and urad dal in water for 6 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Grind the soaked rice and dal into a smooth batter with water, ensuring a pourable consistency.
  3. 3. Set the batter aside to ferment for 8 hours or until slightly bubbly and aromatic.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
  5. 5. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilies, cooking until fragrant.
  6. 6. Stir in chicken mince and cook until the meat changes color and begins to release juices.
  7. 7. Add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; mix well.
  8. 8. Cook the chicken mixture until it thickens and the flavors meld together, then garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. 9. Heat a flat pan and pour a ladle of dosa batter, spreading it thinly into a circular shape.
