Ingredients
- 200 ml Greek Yogurt Smoothie - Mulberry
- 100 g Baking Powder
- 500 ml Milk
- 10G Salt
- 50 g Black Pepper
- 100 ml Olive Oil
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine 200g of all-purpose flour, 5g of baking powder, and 5g of salt. Gradually add 100ml of milk while mixing, until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a floured surface until smooth.
- Step 2: In a separate bowl, mix 150g of shredded cheddar cheese with 20g of finely chopped chives and 2g of black pepper. This will serve as the filling for the dumplings.
- Step 3: Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a small circle, approximately 8cm in diameter. Place a tablespoon of the cheddar-chive mixture in the center of each circle, then fold and pinch the edges to seal the dumplings.
- Step 4: Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil over medium heat. Grease the steamer basket with 10ml of olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the dumplings into the basket, ensuring they do not touch. Steam for 12-15 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through and tender.
- Step 5: While the dumplings are steaming, prepare the yogurt dip by mixing 200g of Greek yogurt with 5g of finely chopped dill and a pinch of salt. Stir well and set aside.
- Step 6: Once the dumplings are ready, transfer them to a serving plate. Brush the tops with 20g of melted butter for added flavor. Serve hot with the herbed yogurt dip on the side.
