- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Diet Tofu Masala Tofu
- 350 G Mustard Black / Rai 350 G
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Mix Seeds
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 kg Beetroot
- - Ginger Powder
- 500 g Spt Frozen Mixed Vegetables
Instructions
- 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
- 2. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and marinate with Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix and a pinch of salt for 5 minutes.
- 3. Heat mustard oil in a pan and sauté the tofu cubes until golden and slightly crisp. Remove and set aside.
- 4. In the same pan, add fresh turmeric and ginger powder, stirring for 30 seconds to release the aroma.
- 5. Add the soaked rice and sauté for 2 minutes, coating it evenly with the spices.
- 6. Pour water into the pan and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and cook the rice for 12-15 minutes.
- 7. Meanwhile, steam the frozen mixed vegetables in a rice cooker or steamer for 5 minutes until tender.
- 8. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it gently with a fork and mix in the steamed vegetables.
- 9. Plate the rice and vegetable mixture, topping it with the sautéed tofu cubes.
- 10. Drizzle a small amount of mustard oil over the dish for added flavor and serve warm.
