Ingredients

  • 500 g Honeyman Multi Flower Honey
  • 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
  • 200 g Hello Tempayy Simply Natural Tempeh Crumbles
  • 349 G Morinaga Silken Tofu
  • 100 g Salt
  • 45 g On1Y Cinnamon Powder
  • 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
  • 500 ml Colavita White Wine Vinegar
  • 100 g Zoff Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup sherry, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, and 1 teaspoon garlic salt to create the marinade.
  2. 2. Cut 500 g of firm tofu into thick slices or cubes and place them in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tofu, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  3. 3. Cover the dish and refrigerate for several hours or overnight to allow the tofu to absorb the flavors.
  4. 4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the marinated tofu to a baking dish, arranging the pieces in a single layer. Reserve the remaining marinade.
  5. 5. Bake the tofu uncovered for 1 1/4 hours, basting occasionally with the reserved marinade to keep it moist and flavorful.
  6. 6. Once the tofu is golden and slightly caramelized, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
