Ingredients
- 200 g Green Peas (Peeled)
- 200 g Sambar Onion Peeled (Sambar Kanda)
- 200 g Delichic Chicken Broth
- 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
- 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
- 275 g Unroll All Butter Puff Dough Sheet Squares
- 1 pc (1 kg) Tata Salt 2 In 1 Shakti Jar
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup of diced onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt and 1/3 cup of cornstarch, cooking for 1-2 minutes until the mixture forms a paste.
- 4. Gradually whisk in 3 cups of chicken broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
- 5. Add 500 g of cooked, shredded chicken and 1 package (about 300 g) of green peas to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.
- 6. Transfer the mixture to a heated 2-quart shallow casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- 7. Place the casserole in the oven and heat until bubbly, about 10 minutes.
- 8. Remove the dish from the oven and add your prepared puff pastry evenly over the surface.
- 9. Return the casserole to the oven and bake until the puff pastry is golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
