- 500 g Chicken Thigh Boneless

- 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
- 100 g The Select Aisle Baking Soda
- 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
Instructions
- 1. Cut each chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- 2. In a medium glass or plastic bowl, mix 1 egg, 2 teaspoons vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon sugar.
- 3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse.
- 4. After marination, add 1/4 cup water to the chicken mixture and stir well.
- 5. In a separate bowl, combine 1/4 cup cornstarch and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Gradually add this dry mixture to the chicken, mixing until the chicken pieces are evenly coated.
- 6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
- 7. Serve the crispy chicken bites hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as part of a meal.
