  • 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
  • - Besan
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine millet flour, chickpea flour, cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2. Add the chopped green chili, tomato, capsicum, and coriander leaves to the dry mixture. Gradually add water while stirring to form a smooth, pourable batter of pancake-like consistency.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat and lightly grease with a few drops of oil. Once hot, pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly into a thin circle.
  4. 4. Drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip gently and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed, to make more cheelas.
