Ingredients
- - Grated Coconut
- - Mustard Seeds
- 500 ml Water
- Pcs Chings Masala Chicken Chilli
- - Onion
- 250g Garlic
- 250g Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 250g Coriander
- 20G Curry Leaves
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Powder
- 100 g Black Pepper Powder
- 10G Salt
- 500 g Rice
- 500 g Ghee
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a deep pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
- Step 2: Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Mix in garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Step 3: Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, and salt. Stir well.
- Step 4: Add chicken pieces and sauté until the chicken is lightly browned. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Step 5: Blend grated coconut with a little water to form a smooth paste. Add this paste to the chicken along with 1.5 cups of water for a curry consistency.
- Step 6: Simmer the curry for 15 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the flavors are well combined. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Step 7: While the curry cooks, prepare the coconut rice. Drain the soaked rice. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan, add the rice, and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Step 8: Add 3 cups of boiling water and 1 cup of fresh grated coconut to the rice. Cook on medium heat until the rice is soft and fragrant.
- Step 9: Serve the chicken saaru hot with the coconut rice for a satisfying meal.
