A rich and flavorful Indian vegetarian dish featuring marinated paneer cooked in a creamy tomato-based gravy, served with fragrant jeera rice.
Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- Pcs Epi Yogurt Mango
- 200 g Cream
- 25 g Kasuri Methi
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100g Garam Masala
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 250g Green Chilli
- 250g Coriander
- 10G Salt
Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, mix yogurt, 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and a pinch of salt. Add the paneer cubes and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the marinated paneer until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same pan, heat another tablespoon of oil. Add cumin seeds, chopped onions, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- Step 4: Add the remaining ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Step 5: Add garam masala, kasuri methi, and salt. Mix well and pour in the cream. Simmer the gravy for 5 minutes.
- Step 6: Gently fold in the paneer cubes and cook for another 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Step 7: For jeera rice, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add rinsed basmati rice and 300ml of water. Season with salt and cook until the rice is fluffy.
- Step 8: Serve the paneer tikka masala hot with jeera rice.
