Ingredients
- - Chicken Breast
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 50 g Honey
- - Rice Vinegar
- 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 100 g Cornflour
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, crushed red chili flakes, black pepper, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
- 3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
- 4. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
- 5. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving some space between pieces for even cooking.
- 6. Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat and brush it lightly with vegetable oil.
- 7. Grill the chicken skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and slightly charred. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 75°C (165°F).
- 8. Transfer the skewers to a serving plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- 9. Serve hot with a side of tangy dipping sauce or enjoy them on their own!
