Ingredients

  • 500 g Poha
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Hing Khoda
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the flattened rice (poha) in a colander under running water and let it drain completely. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add hing, mustard seeds, and curry leaves, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped green chilies, green peas, bell peppers, and shredded cabbage. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. 4. Stir in turmeric powder, salt, and sugar, ensuring the spices coat the vegetables evenly.
  5. 5. Add the drained poha to the pan and gently mix to combine with the vegetables and spices. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Remove the pan from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the poha. Mix well to distribute the tangy flavor.
  7. 7. Garnish with roasted peanuts and freshly chopped coriander. Serve warm in individual bowls.
