Ingredients

  • 250 g Mutton
  • 500 ml Water
  • 500 G Ridge Gourd/Jhinge Tori(500Gm)
  • - Smiles-crispy Happy Potatoes-750 Gms
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 10G Salt
  • 250g Coriander

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of mustard oil in a deep pan. Add panch phoran and let it splutter.
  2. Step 2: Add mutton pieces and sauté on medium heat until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Remove the mutton and set aside. In the same pan, add the remaining mustard oil and sauté the ridge gourd, drumsticks, potatoes, and carrots for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Add the turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt to the vegetables. Mix well.
  5. Step 5: Return the mutton to the pan, add 300 ml of water, and bring to a boil.
  6. Step 6: Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the mutton is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
