Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Fresh Tofu
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Til
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- - Green Peas
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add asafoetida and sauté for 30 seconds to release its aroma.
- 2. Add the crumbled tofu to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of sesame oil. Toss in the shredded cabbage, chopped bell peppers, and green peas. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- 4. Add the cooked rice to the pan, mixing it well with the vegetables. Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle turmeric powder, black pepper powder, and chili flakes (if using). Stir to evenly coat the rice and vegetables with the spices.
- 5. Return the cooked tofu to the pan and drizzle tamari over the mixture. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to combine all the flavors.
- 6. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and roasted sesame seeds (if using).
