Ingredients

  • - Fresh Tofu
  • 100 g Lemon Grass
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 100 g Hing Khoda
  • 100 g Til
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Cornflour
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate

Instructions

  1. 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, cornstarch, turmeric powder, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt. Toss the tofu cubes in this mixture to coat evenly.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tbsp of sesame oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the coated tofu cubes and pan-fry until golden and crispy on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pan, heat the remaining sesame oil and add the finely chopped lemongrass and hing. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  4. 4. Add the diced green and red bell peppers along with the shredded cabbage. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crunchy.
  5. 5. Add the -free soy sauce, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to the pan. Stir well to combine and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. 6. Return the crispy tofu to the pan and toss everything together, ensuring the tofu and vegetables are evenly coated with the sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. 7. Transfer the dish to a serving plate, sprinkle with black sesame seeds (if using), and serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
