- 200 g Mooz Cheddar Cheese Block
- 200 g Organigram Chia Seeds
- 400 Ml Kara Coconut Cream
- 500 g Dairy Craft Unsalted White Butter
- 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
- 1 pack (100 g) Popular Essentials Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- 2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add 1/2 cup diced green pepper, 1/2 cup diced red pepper, 1/4 cup diced white onion, and 1 1/2 cups diced ham. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and the ham is lightly browned. Set aside.
- 3. In a large bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup chia seeds and 1 1/2 cups water until well combined and let sit for 10 minutes to thicken. Add 1/2 cup coconut cream and a pinch of salt and pepper, whisking until smooth.
- 4. Heat a small frying pan over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Pour in the chia seed mixture and gently stir as it thickens. Once the mixture begins to thicken, spread it evenly across the bottom of the pan.
- 5. Pour an additional 1/3 cup of the chia seed mixture over the set mixture to fill any gaps. Sprinkle 1/5 of the sautéed ham and vegetable mixture evenly over the surface, followed by 1/5 of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- 6. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 1.5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the mixture is fully set.
- 7. Remove the pan from the oven and carefully loosen the edges of the mixture with a spatula. Slide the mixture onto a plate, folding it in half as you go. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make 5 servings.
- 8. Serve the mixture warm, optionally paired with a side salad or keto-friendly bread.
